Hi all,
I am 44 years old, and I can remember as a preteen our local weather gave "CONDITION 90" alerts 20 plus years ago. Back then in central Illinois we only had a hand full of days like that. Now, we see no alerts from the news media, because we have almost all summer days at "CONDITION 90" and several should say "CONDITION 100". People who do not believe in Global Warming must not remember their childhoods. Lack of air conditioning then was not that big of a deal, because you could just sit in the shade to cool off, not so anymore.

I hate to say it, but the majority of people will not wake up to this MAJOR problem till it is to late. I think people would do more if we the working middle class could afford to purchase vehicles that are better for the environment. Car manufacturers put such a high price on these types of vehicles only a small percentage of people could actually afford to buy one.
