Wow, what a busy weekend. It started Friday night with the Oakville Waterfront Festival. We met Rob and Leoni at their boat and sailed out to listen to the bands and watch the fireworks from just off-shore. Saturday we were at the Guelph lake Triathalon that Juliette and Silvia were racing in. Sunday we spent the morning and early afternoon at Anne & Wayne’s. Cheryl has just returned from a year in Korea and it was nice to catch up with her and see her pictures.

Then Sunday night Juliette and I took the kayak down to Burlington beach for her maiden voyage. I am happy to report that she floats right side up (the kayak, not Juliette), tracks straight and handles well. I am quite pleased with the results if I don’t say so myself.

We took many pictures over the weekend, so if you head over to the photo albums, you will find new pictures in the kayak album and two new albums. This weekend we are going to the Airborne Reunion in Petawawa, so there should be more new pictures next week.
