Sea Kayaking

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend sea kayaking on Georgian Bay north of Parry Sound. It was the first major trip for my new kayak and I was a bit anxious on how well it would handle fully loaded in rough water but I didn’t have to worry. Juliette was also a bit nervous because it was her first time on a long trip in a single kayak, but she took to it like a duck to water and wants to get started on her kayak more than ever.

The weather forecasts called for rain all weekend, but we were extremely lucky in that it only rained hard while we were in camp and tucked safely under the tarps drinking wine. It was overcast most of the weekend, but somehow I still managed to come back with a good sunburn and Juliette is covered in mosquito bites. It is a small price to pay for such a great weekend though.

I have put up 58 photos in a new album if anyone wants to check out our weekend.
Enjoy.
